A note on names
Many sarees sold as "Banarasi" or "Kanjivaram" are made in that style rather than in Banaras or Kanchipuram, and many "silk" sarees are art silk. We name ours the way they are made: our Banarasi pieces are listed as art silk, and our Kanjivaram and Patola pieces as Kanjivaram-style and Patola-style. Our listings name the fabric, and you can ask us about any saree before you buy.
