The skirt is left calm at the waist, a scatter of small beaded dots across crushed antique gold tissue silk, and then the hem tells the story: a garden worked tier by tier, with flowering trees, peacocks with fanned silver tails, paisley arches and soft pink flowers, finished with a scalloped edge.

The full-sleeve blouse carries the same peacocks across a sweetheart bodice, with florals running down the sleeves and beaded fringe falling from the bodice edge and the cuffs. A long gold tissue cape dupatta with a scalloped embroidered border trails behind, and beaded latkan tassels hang at the hip.
