A true scarlet raw silk, worked in silver zari, sequin and stone. Fine arrow butis climb the skirt in ordered rows, then the lower panel opens out — peacocks facing each other through a band of pastel flowers in sage, lilac and dusty rose. That pastel band against the red is what makes this one: it stops the red reading flat and gives the eye somewhere soft to land.

The hem closes in a deep chevron border, silver on red, cut in a zigzag scallop. It comes with two dupattas — an organza and a net — so the drape can go heavier for the ceremony or lighter after.
