The whole baraat, worked in gold zari onto red raw silk. Panel by panel up the skirt: elephants under howdahs, horses and their riders, kalash, peacocks facing each other across a border. It is figurative work — you can stand and read it — and the stone setting throws light off it from a distance. Two dupattas come with it: a red organza with an embroidered scalloped border, and a net.
