Ivory raw silk worked almost entirely in silver — mirror, zari, resham and stone — with pairs of peacocks facing each other across every panel and kalash rising between them. The restraint is deliberate: the only colour in the whole piece is a thread of dusty rose running through the peacock feathers and the hem scallops, which is what stops a white-on-white lehenga from disappearing under lights. The hem tiers into scallop upon scallop, and two net dupattas come with it — one to drape, one to veil.
