An ivory raw silk that has been drawn on rather than embroidered. Rows of jharokha arches climb the skirt, each little window filled with its own flowering vignette in pink, peach and blue — then the hem opens out into a garden: roses, palms, butterflies, a pair of peacocks. Stone, zari and resham are worked in together, so it reads pastel from across the room and detailed up close. The pink net dupatta carries a matching embroidered border.
