A traditional gharchola in red gajji silk: an ivory ground divided into a grid of small squares, each holding a tiny motif in green, pink and orange, framed by red bandhani-dotted borders and a red pallu woven with gold. The border is the showpiece, a deep scalloped band of gold handwork set with round discs, stones and beads, running up the front of the drape, along the pallu and across the hem, with pearl tassels at the pallu end.

It comes with a stitched red blouse, also handworked, with scalloped cuffs and beaded drops along the hem. Made for the bride and for wedding functions and festive occasions.
