Gold and maroon velvet, cut against each other. Panels of maroon are set into the gold as patchwork — peacocks facing off, kalgi, flowering vines — and the joins are covered in heavy zari so the whole skirt reads as one continuous piece of work rather than assembled parts. Resham brings in pink and blue at close range; stone does the rest. The hem stacks into tiered bands of paisley. Two dupattas: maroon velvet with an embroidered border, and gold net with butis.
