A dusty rose soft silk lehenga from the Padmini line — mauve-pink rather than bright, which is what makes it wearable for a whole day of functions. Tall mehrab arches run up the panels, filled with fine floral vines in resham and zari, and the hem opens into peacocks with their tails fanned in blue, green and gold. Below that, tiered bands close on a scalloped edge.
