Gold viscose silk with a soft sheen and a tone-on-tone floral weave, left plain enough that the border carries the saree. It is a scalloped band of leaf-and-vine handwork in silver beads and sequins, set with small red and green stones, running up the front of the drape and deepening along the pallu, which ends in pearl-drop tassels. A bright, easy gold for party wear and festive evenings, and a good fit for the bride's mother.

It comes with a ready, stitched handwork blouse in size 38, so the set can be worn straight away.
