Gold Kanjivaram with a lustrous finish and a soft floral weave through the cloth, kept unfussy so the border can carry the saree. It is a scalloped band of flowers worked in pink and mauve resham with green leaves, zari and small stones, running along the drape, the pallu and the hem, with tassels at the corner. A rich, comfortable choice for the bride's mother, who wants weight and colour without going heavy-handed.
