Ivory raw silk kept deliberately plain through the body — just gold resham and stone butis, evenly spaced — so that the hem can do something. And it does: tiers of fanned scallops in pink and gold, layered one over the next, rising almost to the knee. The ivory net dupatta repeats the same scalloped edge, which is what ties the whole thing together.
