A boutique piece from the Damsel line — a whole garden scene worked across ivory crape silk. Peacocks stand under domed pavilions, butterflies and beetles sit between flowering stems, and the motifs are spaced with air around them rather than crowded edge to edge. The hem turns saffron yellow and goes dense: moti, cutdana and thread packed into a scalloped border that carries the whole weight of the piece.

It is built in layers — resham thread does the drawing and the colour, then moti and cutdana handwork sits over it for relief and light, with stone work through the detail. The restraint on the body is what makes the hem land; a skirt worked this hard all over would have nowhere to breathe.

Crape silk falls softer than raw silk, so it moves rather than stands — the right choice for a piece meant to be worn through a haldi or a mehendi rather than posed in. The contrast is the sky blue soft organza dupatta, scalloped and embroidered to match, which lifts the ivory rather than repeating it.

It arrives ready to wear, and it is a limited boutique piece — not part of a bulk run.
