A burnt orange that deepens as it falls — pale at the waist, full rust by the hem — with silver dori, zari, resham and stone worked over it the whole way down. Long paisleys and kalgi panels run through a diamond lattice, tight enough that the velvet reads as texture rather than colour in the mid-section. The orange net dupatta is embroidered to match, with a heavy floral scalloped edge. For the bride who wants the weight of a wedding lehenga without red.
