Two colours doing very different jobs. The ivory carries the work — silver cutdana and bead laid so densely across the panels that the net underneath all but disappears — while rust orange runs between them in narrow columns, warming the whole thing from the inside. Soft lilac creeps into the lower panels, the third colour you only notice once you are close.

The bodice is worked heavier still, with sheer full sleeves in a fine bead jaal and a beaded fringe at the hem. The rust orange net dupatta is the counterweight: mostly bare, scattered with bead sprays, and finished in a deep scalloped border that trails.

It arrives fully stitched, so it goes from the box to the evening.
