Rani pink raw silk read as a garden, built in four bands from the waist down. It opens on a scatter of small silver butis, then a row of flowering trees with spotted deer standing beneath them and blue birds in flight between. Below that, a dense register of arched jharokha niches worked in silver zari with vines and more birds. And at the hem, the register everything has been building to: oversized cream, blush and lilac roses and sunflowers in multicolour resham with pearl and cutdana centres, sitting against the pink over a scalloped silver border.

The set comes with a matching raw silk blouse, two dupattas — one organza and one net, the net scattered with the same blue birds — a kamar belt and heavy tasselled latkans.
