Deep maroon raw silk under dense silver zari, mirror and moti handwork. Fine vertical lines run the full drop of the skirt, broken by floral medallions, and the whole thing gathers into the hem — a band of mehrab arches, each holding its own bouquet, then a run of roundels, closing on a deep scalloped edge worked in mirror.
Mirror work is what separates this from a straightforward zari piece: it throws light back in hard points rather than a soft sheen, so the lehenga reads bright under photography without the colour going orange the way pure gold-on-red often does.
It comes with two net dupattas — one worked heavily to match the lehenga, one lighter — so the drape can be built up for the ceremony and eased off afterwards. The raw silk blouse is embroidered front, back and sleeves.
