Lavender viscose raw silk, and the white pearl and cutdana sits so close to it in tone that the jaal reads as texture before it reads as pattern. Flowering vines cover the upper skirt; the hem opens into tall paisleys over tiered scalloped bands, which is where the work gets dense enough to catch light. The net dupatta is the same lavender with a pearl scalloped border — the whole thing stays in one soft register.
