Deep wine net from the Butterfly Collection — the darkest of the four, and the easiest to wear for an evening function. A pair of peacocks opens across the front panel in silver and pale blue thread, their tails fanning down into a scalloped beaded hem, with fine chevron bands running around the waist. Against wine, the silverwork reads brighter and the whole thing goes richer under evening light.

This is the piece for the wedding party rather than the bride — the sister who has to dance, the cousin who is on her feet all evening, the friend standing beside the bride. Soft net over a double can-can gives real flare without weight, so it moves easily and photographs full.
